Erasmus+ (2022-2023)
Safeguarding Our Young People is an Erasmus+ project built with organizations from Germany, Croatia, Spain and Wales, the latter acting as coordinators. The project aims to raise awareness of how work is being done throughout Europe for the safety of children and young people in situations of harassment. To achieve the objective, three training meetings have been held in the different participating countries and a final closing one, in Wales.
The organisations involved in the project were:
- Escolapia Salt – school in Catalonia, Spain – visited 12th-17th May 2022
- Sportkreisjugend Rems-Murr – sports organisation in Baden-Württemberg, Germany – visited 1st-6th June 2022
- Hermes – non-formal education organisation in Croatia – visited 24th-29th October 2022
- Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Wales – youth work organisation in Wales, United Kingdom – visited 16th-24th January 2023
Our project ends with the preparation of a handbook that offers resources and proposals for prevention, detection and action in situations of harassment and neglect of minors and an e-learning site.
